Plastic Model Bus Description, Bus Collector Value ($US) and Notes...
American Precision Models has made a number of nice little Flxible Clipper plastic HO scale buses since the mid 1990s. They have several diffferent liveries with this blue and white 1950s Flxible Clipper in a generic livery. It is slightly smaller than their GM old look buses so it's not exactly an HO scale bus, but very close.
This very nice Flxible Clipper was part of a package of model buses sent to me by the owner of American Precision many years back to help promote their offerings. Unfortunately, it is no longer available as the manufacturer has gone out of business. Best thing to do is CLICK HERE To See APM - American Precision Model Buses For Sale on the rare chance a bus collector is selling his.

I have recently aquired one of these bus kits which is complete. I don't have the original package , however I do have the labeling and the kit is complete with all the parts. Whatelse besides what I have read in this article can you tell me about this item. Is American Precision Models still around. Thanks Steve D.

APM should still be around, but the link above seems to be temporarily down. Try the link in a few days as that was working up until recently and they were still selling many of their models.
Besides the Flxible Clipper, they also produced a GM old look in several liveries including Public Service of NJ. They appear elsewhere here in ToyBusExpo.com.

Just a quick note re the bus photo above, the model is a 1951 era Flxible Visicoach. The Clipper was a 1947 era model. The Clipper had seven passenger compartment windows whereas the Visicoach had three wide windows plus a small window.
APM made both the Visicoach and the Clipper, the Clipper veery difficult to find.

Re.Flx flyer /Visicoach.I have driven both of these buses as Acadian Lines in Halifax use these buses since 1947 when the companey started.Later they went on to use the GMC 's and GMC buffilo style coaches until the 80's when they started using MCI coaches. I have a model of the visicoach. Check out my web page at..

Anyone interested in a APM viscoach unpainted kit. I have one for $50.00US or reasonable offer. These sell for about the price I'm asking up to $60-70.00. Very seldom do you get lucky and find them much lower. I'll post if sold.
