American Precision Models has made a number of nice little General Motors plastic HO scale buses since the mid 1990s. They have several diffferent liveries with this teal green and orange 1950s old look being from the North Olmstead Municipal Bus Lines.
This bus was part of a package of models sent to me by the owner of American Precision many years back to help promote their offerings. It can be ordered through their website at

Dec 14, 10 | 6:09 pmAs a revision to my above comment from 2004, the APM old look is actually a TDH-4511 exclusive to Milwaukee and is not a TDH-4510 as stated. It's all in the details!
The original TDH-4500 series of 1949 buses with paired windows had the same size single window before and after the rear door. Sometime in 1950, structural stress at the rear necessitated GM to reinforce the rear door area by allotting more space between the rear door and the window in front - thus a smaller window. This reinforced feature is on Milwaukee's TDH-4511 buses - the ones replicated by ATM. Note the two size single windows.

This is a great casting of the TDH-4510 and 4511 (both 102" wide models), but unfortunately all of them went to three companies. NYC had 500 of the 4510s with the odd one going to LA while Milwaukee had all 120 4511s. APM should have made this the narrower TDH-4509/4512 which would have been correct for the liveries they produced.
Too bad APM is inactive! Their website hasn't been updated for almost 2 years. This was a promising company to avail actual American prototypes in HO scale.
