HO scale Flx cruser painted in the old Acadian Lines colours. Bought on line and put together in the colours of Acadian Lines. I drove these type of buses during the late 60's and early 70s.
I drove these type of buses in 1969 and the model is acurate in scale (ho) this bus model of a Flx was bought by Acadian Lines in Halifax NS in 1947 .That is when the companey started,.April 1st. to be exact. It was the combination of two companeys. Wagner Tours and Pender Couch Lines.
The flex was replaced with GM diesel buses in 1961 but the companey used the Flex couches until 1970 at which time they were sold to private collecters or sent to be scrapped. They were very comfortable to drive and a vertual tank in snow.I have since obtained a model Flx 1:50 scale from
eBay and it is my pride and joy because they are so rare and very hard to get. I have sent photos to Toybusexpo for them to display.
