Plastic Model Bus Description, Bus Collector Value ($US) and Notes...

This plastic Greyhound friction toy is a model of the MC-8 "Americruiser" bus. It looks like a bus bank, but it isn't.

This Greyhound model bus has nice detailing throughout and has paper decals for the Greyhound stripes and logo on the sides. The roof however is molded with the red, white and blue colors into the plastic. Destination sign reads, "America."

The box from which it comes is a copy of MC-8 bus on all sides so effectively one is getting a plastic bus AND a cardboard box / paper bus. Very nice indeed.

As A bus admirer,I like all types of of MCI's,I have even driven three of these buses myself and have enjoyed it very much,My Dad is a Bus Driver and taught me how to drive,Makes me want to start my own Bus Company someday!!
The scale and colors look great,However I noticed this Bus is listed as an MC8,It is in fact an MC7.
Thanks for the great photo's!! Daniel | Sep 28, 06 | 11:31 pm

That is a MCI 7. Years ago when I was young I had two of them. And I never forget those because Greyhound had a lot on the road during the 70's. Now you know what model bus that is. Sirremus Robinson | Feb 03, 07 | 11:49 pm
