Yellow Coach 743: Public Service New Jersey
Built by the Yellow Coach division of General Motors, the 743 was introduced in 1937 and revolutionized the bus industry. It was the first mass produced coach with a rear mounted engine, a dedicated bus chassis and under-the-floor baggage compartments. This model reproduces one of the buses used by the enenormous Public Service New jersey organization. This company, later to become New Jersey Transit, was one of the largest operators of "supercoaches." All of them previosuly used and acquired from other operators (Greyhound).

I bought one of these...Corgi models...that is. Always wondered why they only had the towns listed on the curb side only. My guess...to save money?
