In 1996 Road Champs put out a nice series of transit diecast buses modeled after those of major US cities. This example is of a Flxible in New Jersey Transit colors. Destination sign reads, "29 West Caldwell." As a longtime New jersey resident, I've ridden NJ Transit buses very, very often and have dodged a few while bicycle riding!
These Road Champ diecast buses are long discontinued and hard to find so you will need to check the following link frequently...

Posted by: max | Jun 23, 04 | 3:35 pmAnother version was sold by New Jersey Transit on their website - but unfortunaly they are no longer available. Destination read "1 PENN STATION" and the bus number is 1776. The side ad panels were changed to read: "Visit us on the web at www.njtransit.com"

I have one of the PS #29 West Caldwell flexible models.
www.septa.org If interested in the Septa version of this Flixible...even though Septa never owned this model...visit their transit museum store web site at the url listed above. Last I heard...they had some in stock.

Posted by: Alfie Lucas | Aug 08, 09 | 6:18 pmI like about this model because it look
like the real transit bus on the street
because I live in Paterson,NJ and I always ride NJ transit bus certain times
and that why I love love this toy bus.
