The following Flxible model diecast bus text and photos were submitted by Tom White of Canada.
I bought a Corgi model Flxible Clipper on E-Bay for a very good price a $100.00 value for $41.00. It is 7.75 inches long by 2 inches wide 1:50 scale made by Corgi .Bought from a seller in the US. It is a 1950s era Greyhound bus.These were the type of buses I drove at Acadian Lines in Halifax which were used on their suburban runs.

I bought the Corgi model of the Flxible Clipper in its original colour scheme of the Capitol Bus Company in Brown and Cream livery. A truly lovely model of a great bus. Regards, Frederick

I AM LOOKING FOR THE REAL THING, A FRIEND OF MYINE USE TO HAVE ONE, HE HAD A SMALL FAMILY BAND & TRAVEL TEXAS EACH WEEKEND IN IT TO HIS PLAYING JOBS. I ROAD IN IT ABOUT 6 TIMES. JUST AWESOME. I WANT TO FIND ONE, CONVERT IT INTO A MOTOR HOME, & TRAVEL THE GLOBE WITH IT.

Hi E-1 it's been awhile since I was here last.I still have the flx model but have now aquired 4 more.To reply to Charley's question.I have no idea where you could find a working Flx.I imagion they are very rare.I remember when I use to drive the Flx's and they were a real tank in the winter.It was almost impossible to get stuck in the snow.I never realised how much I would miss driving them.

I am searching for a similar toy model to purchase. I had a fleet of 4 similar units, 1941 #552, 1944 #564, 1945 #569, 1947 #1000(the Flying Carpet), all of which were used on regular scheduled routes in Alberta, plus Charters & Tours in Western Canada, not to mention overload trips for Western Canadian Greyhound Lines, from Winnipeg to Vancouver. 403-320-9999
