The Gurney Steam Coach was the first steam-powered bus, built in 1825 and running from London to Bath. It was able to transport 18 passengers at a speed of 10 mph. The model with plastic body and diecast base was released by Brumm in their range of steam-powered vehicles in 1976, but it is still produced today in small quantities.
