This Robert Garett epoxy resin model of a one-of-a-kind 1957 Greyhound, Mack MV-620 is a beautiful work of art. I purchased this handmade model on April 10, 1995 and received a certificate of authenticity with the serial number being 109-GH-29. The trim is listed as, Original Greyhound livery: two-tone blue, gold, white and black. The destination sign reads, "Chicago."
The real Mack MV-620 is a 1957 bus built expressly for Greyhound Lines and only one exists in the world. I've had a chance to see this bus in person twice in the last few years and can really appreciate the workmanship that went into the model.
YOUR COMMENTS
Detailed model - life like livery of this one of a kind bus, heavy for it's size which only adds to its presence.
Do you also have one of these Mack bus models? If so, which livery / paint scheme did you get? When I bought this Mack bus in the 1990s I believe three different styles were offered. Wish I could have afforded all three :-(
If yours is different then the one above consider submitting a photo and I'll add to the site.
Well the model is really good .I worked
for mack in the mid 80's and they were
trying to get back into the coach business . They had a Renault coach
repowered with Mack Power .It was a
beauty full coach , they just couldn't
make headway with MCI ,Eagle ,Prevost
They have always made a great product ,but coaches they just couldn't
quite get the market excited about it.
Still a loyal Mack man , great model .
I am in the process of havin epoxy resin model PD-4905 buses made.
i hope to have them available for X-MAS 2007 sales.
