Promo Bank Bus Description, Bus Collector Value ($US) and Notes...
This is one of those Eagle friction powered bus banks that were oufitted with decals for a particular country music star. Here's one where I peeled off all the ugly Sawyer Brown decals to reveal the bare bus. The stickers originally obscured most of the rear windows. What's also nice about this Eagle bus is that it has a friction motor.
This bus was purchased in a small New York City toy store during the mid 1990s for around $15.00. Haven't seen them in stores since.

Posted by: raymond murphy | May 30, 04 | 12:32 amThe Eagle bus you have here is an Eagle-10. Trailways Bus Company used this bus extensively in the west/southwest. They were one of the top choices for entertainers for their roadshows.

I've bought two of these on eBay recently. I'm glad to know what DJP means now. It says Another DJP Concept on the coin door on the bottom. And also the BTTS on the front bumper. Both of mine are silver and only have the first two windows.
I rode a lot of Silver Eagles in the music business throughout the years. I own a Model 10 and a Model 20 now. I am converting the Model 20 for an RV for my family. You can see lots more info on Eagle buses and Eagle conversions at http://www.eaglesinternational.net
